San Francisco: Fire Spinning with FlowToys

Boy howdy do I have a lot of catching up to do. Here's some pictures from two different fire spinning performances that Sean von Stade and Prisna Nuengsigkapian of FlowToys did in San Francisco in April.

Part I - Performance in Union Square, San Francisco

Prisna started off the performance by lighting her fire wand. Sean and Prisna incorporate dance and martial arts movements in their performances, so each stage - from lighting to spinning to the ending - is a part of their performance.

Prisna doing a sensual fire wand dance. The wand is one of FlowToys' coolest products. It looks like it's magically suspended in the air. Prisna controlled it with a piece of thin thread.

Sean and Prisna ended their performance with an embrace.

Part II - Performance in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

Unknown person - very cool double exposure. I didn't know the photo came out this way until I was post-processing.

Sean of FlowToys lights the lamps that will light his and Prisna's poi for their performance.
