Los Angeles: Grand Central Market

The Grand Central Market is a large public market in downtown Los Angeles, and is LA's oldest market - it opened in 1917. It contains produce stalls featuring Latin American products, bulk items and spices, meat and seafood, and food stands representing various Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Asian cuisines.

El Salvadorean pupuseria. Pupusas are little turnovers made from corn tortillas and commonly filled with meat and cheese, but there are variations on the fillings. They are delicious, like little meat pies.
